From lush Balearic infused party starters to gloriously deep house music for the late-night crowd, his passion for good music lends to musically diverse DJ sets where genre and tempo meld into an eclectic sonic journey.

CAMALEON AFRO-LATINO
Camaleón Afro-Latino
As a Chameleon adapts to its environment, so it's the music within the band as the variety of Afro-Latino(Salsa, Cumbia, Samba, Merengue, reggae & ska) music and audience demands it. Led by percussionist, singer and guitarist Carlos Navae (Mexico) the band features Angel Guilarte (Cuba) on bass and vocals and Shaun Anderson (NZ) on Drums. They will make sure to make you move your body to their percussive, energetic tropical music!

DJ HAPE
In the mid to late 90s, HAPE immersed himself in Wellington's burgeoning dance scene, transitioning from an avid dancer to a DJ. Frequenting iconic clubs like Tatou and Paradiso, he honed his skills and sound, leading to his first residency at Terrace Bar. HAPE's reputation grew with successful club nights like High Calibre and Back On Track, and a notable four-year stint in Auckland, where he ran Pitch n’ Faders at Red Bar and played at Ink Bar. Returning to Wellington in 2018, he continues to be a prominent DJ, known for his high-energy funk and deep tribal tech mixes.

DJ TOMMY THOMAS
Freestyle Latin & Funk
Born and bred in the capital city, Tom’s long-standing obsession with music has left him as the owner of a large and varied collection of vinyl.
Having cut his DJ teeth in bars and clubs in Sydney in the early 2000s, he now holds down regular sets at local favourites Havana Bar and Parrotdog Bar, monthly host of the Soul Affair show on RadioActive, and co-founder of Jive Turkey; a regular event that pays homage to the 7” vinyl single.

DJ TYSONIDERO
Having been a performing musician most of his life, Wellington-based Tyson Smith originally added DJing to his repertoire as a means to share rarities from his vinyl collection, but soon began exploring further, and has since DJed at the likes of Splore and Shipwrecked. With an interest in music from around the globe, expect groovy elements of African, Arabic, Bollywood and Latin music as Tysonidero delves into sonic treats from across space and time!
